Hello! My name is Lisa and I have over 10 years’ experience in the body art industry. My passion for face and body art began when I was about 15 years old when my sister was given a face painting kit for her birthday. Fast forward a few years my first “paid job” was for the Southside Festival in 2009, whilst studying Architecture at Strathclyde Universit. This was followed by being the resident face painter for Octopussy at the Arches Nightclub.

 

Over the years I have increased skill set to offer arrange of body art and event services. I strive to provide the highest quality of face painting possible by attending workshops and regular practice. Have a theme in mind for your event? I love creating designs for themed events or promoting brands! I have previously created face painting designs for Disney!

I am more than happy to dress up to interact with the guests!

I have worked for many well known clients in the UK (and abroad), but I am not going to list them because it is private, as your event will be!

I have a very generous face and body paint kit, packed full of colour, gems and glitter! I only  products considered to be safe for use on the skin and glitter that will not damage eyes are used.

Blue Moon Body Art is insured for 10million indemnity, PVG checked and hold a Makaton Level 1 certificate. I am passionate about events being as inclusive as possible and will do my best to include children or guests that speak other languages, sign or simply need a little more time.

Lisa is the Scottish Representative of The Face Painting Association and is also a member of Equity. Each member has passed a stringent accreditation assessment to be accepted as a member, ensuring their work meets the benchmark set by FACE.

Members maintain high levels of health and hygiene to protect the faces they paint, which is welcomed by clients and parents alike, and only use products which have been approved for use on face and bodies. Members can produce fantastic artworks quickly to minimise queuing times at your event.
